I was born and raised in Jacksonville, graduating Robert E Lee High School and Jacksonville University with a BS degree in Business Administration. I was captain of the high school golf team and earned a golf scholarship at JU. My father was a general contractor/developer of residential homes, apartment buildings and offices in Jacksonville for over thirty years. I worked many different positions for his company growing up and soon after graduation became supervisor of construction and site sales agent of residential housing. We later found rehabbing houses to be a good business alternative in economic downturns.
I have purchased, improved and sold homes in Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami and Boone, North Carolina. My passion for golf led me to the golf course brokerage business. I have sold golf courses and development property in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. The golf business has not recovered as well as the residential home market. Statistics for home sales in Florida continue to improve with an expected 10 million home buyers moving to Florida in the next 8 years.
Jacksonville will always be home for me. With great weather, a strong job market, the St Johns River & Downtown Riverfront, beautiful beaches, the NFL Jaguars, great public golf courses and gated golf course communities including the Tournament Players Championship, first class restaurants and shopping,
who could ask for more?
